Summerstage NYC

2025
Summerstage NYC is New York City’s largest free outdoor performing arts festival, presented by City Parks Foundation. Each summer, it brings live music, dance, and performances to parks across all five boroughs, celebrating the city’s cultural diversity and creative energy.
For the festival’s 2025 edition, I was commissioned to create the official artwork.

The poster draws inspiration from everyday elements found in New York City parks, transforming them into musical instruments that reflect the city’s vibrant and eclectic sound

The composition centers on a park plaza shaped like a guitar,
with a tambourine fountain at its core

Bridges become boomboxes, trees turn into pianos, trash bins into congas, fences into vibraphones, and squirrels swap their nuts for saxophones
